[SHAWNEE, OHIO] – The Shawnee Farmers Market is excited to announce the first Farm-To-Table Fundraiser benefitting the Market’s efforts to promote local entrepreneurs and address food insecurity in the community.

The Farm-To-Table Fundraiser will take place on Saturday, September 21 from 5 to 9 p.m. inside the historic Tecumseh Theater, located at 116 Main Street in Shawnee.

Guests will enjoy a menu featuring ingredients sourced locally from Shawnee Farmers Market Vendors, including Briar Bush Farms, Farm To Table Baked Goods, and Never Never Fruit Farms, among others. Catering services will be provided by Olive Branch Catering from Albany.

“The Shawnee Farmers Market Board of Directors is excited to feature the bounty of our local producers, who have been so crucial to the success and growth of the market,” said Tom Redfern, SFM Board Chairman and Senior Director of Sustainable Agriculture and Forestry at Rural Action. “We encourage the community to come together and celebrate local agriculture and progress in our community.”
